In December 1999 we received a email from a Dutch fisherman Martin Boone to say that while beam trawling for plaice 50 miles from the Dutch coast in 50 metres depth water he had found one of our loggers.

He searched for us on the internet to find our email address

From the serial number we traced it as a logger which had been lost from St Peter Port harbour in Guernsey in January 1997

The logger was returned in perfect condition and the data retrieved which shows just how robust our loggers are !
